The standard this site aims for
This site is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 at level AA. That covers keyboard access, colour contrast, text alternatives, heading structure, form labels and behaviour that respects your browser and system settings.
What that means here
- Everything interactive works with a keyboard, and the focused element is always visible.
- A skip link takes you straight to the main content.
- Text meets AA contrast in both the light and dark themes.
- The dark theme follows your system setting unless you choose otherwise.
- If you have asked your system to reduce motion, transitions are removed.
- Headings run in order, landmarks are marked up, and form fields have real labels and error messages that say what to fix.
- No information is carried by colour alone.
- Articles have a print stylesheet, so printing gives you the content without the navigation.
Known limitations
Booking runs through Halaxy and the Bowling Workload Tool is a separate application. I do not control the accessibility of either. If you hit a barrier in one of them, tell me and I will book you by phone or work around it.
Getting to appointments
Appointments are at Bridge Road Physiotherapy, 507 Bridge Road, Richmond, inside Uplift Gym. Physical access details are on the Bridge Road accessibility page. If you have access needs, call 0458 007 583 before booking and we will sort it out.
Tell me about a problem
If part of this site is difficult to use, email info@thecricket.physio with what you were trying to do and what got in the way. I will fix it and tell you when it is done.
