Clubs and academies

Cricket medical support without employing a full-time medical team.

Structured workload monitoring, player assessment and return-to-performance support for clubs and academies. For squads of up to 20 players.

  • Six-month season
  • Squads of up to 20
  • Two packages, one short guide to choose
  • Player consent built in

What usually goes wrong at club level

Clubs rarely lack goodwill. They lack a system that survives a busy season with volunteer staff.

Bowling load is a guess

Nets, warm-ups and extra overs go unrecorded, so the only numbers anyone quotes are match overs.

Nobody owns the return decision

It defaults to the player who wants to play and the coach who needs a bowler on Saturday.

Rehab stops at pain-free

Players come back untested against what their role demands, and the second injury gets called bad luck.

Soreness goes unreported

Bowlers keep quiet until the problem stops them, by which point a two-week fix has become a season.

Club Core and Club Plus put a light, consistent system around the players most likely to break down: fast bowlers and anyone returning from injury.

Through the season

How it runs

  1. Pre-season

Player onboarding and consent. A pre-season education session for players and staff. Priority players identified for individual assessment.

  2. Monitoring

Fast bowlers and return-to-play players log bowling and soreness. I review it monthly on Club Core and weekly on Club Plus. Serious red flags go out straight away.

  3. Case review

A monthly multidisciplinary case review with the staff relevant to each case. Club Plus adds six scheduled case-review telehealth sessions and a mid-season update.

  4. End of season

A written report covering availability, workload patterns, injuries and what to change for next season.

Common questions from clubs

Do you attend matches or training?

No. Match-day and tournament attendance are not part of either package. The packages cover monitoring, assessment, case review and education.

Our club already has a physio. Does this replace them?

No. The packages work alongside your physio, S&C staff and coaches, and case reviews include the staff involved in each case.

Which players get monitored?

Fast bowlers and players returning from injury, since that is where most avoidable time out of cricket sits. The rehab and physical preparation libraries are open to the whole squad.

What happens when a serious red flag appears?

The player is contacted straight away, along with a parent or guardian for juniors and the staff the player has agreed to share with. Club Plus adds proactive contact for issues that matter but are not urgent.

How do the included player assessments work?

Four on Club Core, six on Club Plus, in person in Richmond or by telehealth, for the players who need them most. Extra assessments are 20% off.

Do junior clubs and academies qualify?

Yes. Junior players need a parent or guardian's consent during onboarding before any information is shared with club staff.
